Virgin Mary Sandwich

This piece of bread brought its former owner plenty of 'bread' indeed. CNN reported that Diana Duyser, a 52 year old jewellery designer, made the sandwich 10 years ago and when taking a bite, she saw a face staring back at her from the bread. She put the sandwich in a clear plastic box with cotton balls and kept it on her night stand. At first, she was scared by the image, "but now that I realize how unique it is, I wanted to share it with the world," Duyser said. The sandwich, according to Duyser, has never sprouted a spore of mold.
Last week, Duyser put the sandwich up for sale on eBay, drawing bids as high as US$22,000. The page was viewed nearly 100,000 times before eBay took it down fearing that it might be a hoax. Upon ensuring that Duyser was serious about the auction, the item was returned to the web site and eventually sold to GoldenPalace.com, an online casino, for US$28,000[RM106,400]. What will the online casino be doing with the 'Virgin Mary' sandwich? A spokesman says the sandwich will be used to raise money for charity.

One can see a video of the sandwich, here
